
1) Strapless - Only needed if required. Just above your bust.
2) Bust - Not your bra size! Take the tape around your back and bring it across the fullest part of your bust. Your arms should be relaxed, down at your sides. You must wear a bra when taking this measurement.
3) Waist - This is the smallest part of your waist. Typically it's an inch or so above your belly button. Also known as the natural waistline.
4) Hips - This is the widest part of your hips, across the hipbone. Measurement is taken approximately 7 inches below the natural waistline. This measurement is not needed for full gowns.
5) Shoulder to feet - This is the length from your shoulder to your feet. You should stand upright and your feet should keep together. Let the tape across your bust in the front and drop naturally.
6) Shoulder to Apex - This is the length from your shoulder to your nipple.
7) Shoulder to Belly Button - This is the length from your shoulder to your belly button.
8) Shoulder to Shoulder - Only needed for dress with sleeves. This is the width of your shoulder.
9) Apex to Apex - This is the distance between your two nipples.
10) Up Arm Perimeter - Only needed for style with sleeves. Take the tape around your up arm and bring it across the fullest part of your arm.
11) Neck Perimeter - Only needed for styles with necklace.
12) Shoulder to Wrist - Only needed for style with sleeves. |
